The long-awaited memoir from the legendary singer-songwriter and creative force behind Creedence Clearwater Revival.

I'm a long-time fan of John Fogerty's work and looked forward to reading his autobiography (that was written with the assistance of Jimmy McDonough). After reading this book I've come to realize that much of John's life, including his time with Creedence Clearwater Revivial, was a story of betrayal in the deepest sense of the word. It consumed his life and was a negative force until he was able to turn things around with the love of a good woman. His second wife Julie's comments are included with John's near the end of the book. I found this to be a very effective device. All in all, I found this book to be a very satisfying read.
